Often times we hear how devotees feel that our advanced philosophy and books have to be logically and socially acceptable to non-devotees and mundane professors, scholars and grammarians.
Well recently we have come across a few quotes where Srila Prabhupada has said otherwise. As we all know often times Srila Prabhupada would simply say “kick on their face with boot”. So we would like to share these things with you for your own deliberation.
We have also added some other quotes that are very interesting.
Please enjoy these nectar quotes from our master Srila Prabhupada.
You may believe or not believe, but this is the fact. This is the fact. What you are? You don’t believe? So what is loss there? Or gain there, even if you believe or not believe? Nature’s work will go on. You rascal, you believe or not believe. It doesn’t matter.
(Bhagavad-gita 2.13 – Germany, June 18, 1974)
So you believe or not believe; it doesn’t matter for us.

Caitanya Mahaprabhu begins from this brahma-bhutah stage. His teaching is completely on the spiritual platform. Therefore people misunderstand us. Because we are speaking from the spiritual platform everything, they cannot understand. It requires practice.

Sometimes it is necessary to preach a philosophical doctrine which is against the Vedic conclusion.
Bhagavan: Will there come a time when people will become disgusted with the scientists and reject them?
Prabhupada: No. They’ll more and more forget Krsna. This is Kali-yuga. On account of these blind leaders. Don’t you see that this rascal Darwin’s theory, that is very much appreciated? Any movement which tries to get out God, very much appreciated, that is very much appreciated. That is scientific. “You forget God,” that is scientific. And as soon as you speak of God, “You are primitive, old type.” That’s all. “You are conservative.” That, another rascal, Allen Ginsberg, he was speaking, “Swamiji, you are very conservative.” Hare Krsna Hare Krsna… (pause) [break]

99.9 percent of the population is naradhama.
When we, when we see some person, we do not associate with him, but we give him chance to associate with me. Why you should make compromise? What is the reason? If you know something positively, why should you make compromise? When people come to talk with me, see me, I don’t make any compromise. Do I make any compromise?…No, you’ll not compromise; at the same time, you’ll not make enemies. That is tactics. If you make enemies, then what is your tactics? You must speak the truth; at the same time he’ll not be displeased. That is tactics. If you can defeat him by your argument, then he’ll not be displeased. After all, everyone is human being. If you can find out his defect, why he shall be enemy? Therefore, it is said, “You better make a reasonable man an enemy, but don’t make a friend fool.” You don’t make friendship with a fool, but if a man is intelligent, better make him an enemy. Because, because he’s intelligent, although he’s an enemy, he’ll not do any harm. Because intelligent. But a fool, he may pose himself as friend, and he can do anything which is very harmful.

For preaching I have violated so many things. What can be done? As far as possible, I have kept pace.
(Room Conversations – February 20, 1977, Mayapura)
Prabhupada: Then what is the meaning of Krsna conscious?
Indian man: Brahma-bhutah prasannatma na socati na kanksati [Bg. 18.54].
Prabhupada: Hm, that is part of Krsna consciousness, brahma bhutah. Real Krsna consciousness is: “Krsna is master, I am servant.” This is Krsna consciousness.
