This is definitely one of the most wonderful books in all existence. It is a narrative of Krishna’s life and activities with all the deep, profound philosophy of the Vedas woven ever so charmingly into the stories. The very name Krishna means “all-attractive”. Become enchanted by adventure, love, kingdoms, villages, demons and princesses of the transcendental realm, beyond space and time.
Lord Caitanya is the supreme personality of Godhead Krishna Himself in the mood of his pleasure potency, Srimati Radharani. He descended to this world in West Bengal, India, in 1486, to teach pure Krishna Bhakti (love of God) by his personal example.
Although Lord Caitanya is Krishna Himself, He came here in the form of His own devotee to taste the confidential mellows of the purest love of His very Self. This book thoroughly describes Vaishnava philosophy and how to personally practice it.
We are pleased to offer you the original 1968 edition of The Teachings of Lord Chaitanya for free!
Across five centuries and half the globe comes this compact guidebook of essential spiritual teachings. How to choose a guru, how to practice yoga, even where to live. You’ll find it all in this invaluable work originally written in Sanskrit by Srila Rupa Gosvami, the greatest spiritual genius of medieval India. Now translated and explained by Srila Prabhupada, the Nectar of Instruction is the key to enlightenment for all seekers on the path of spiritual perfection.
The Nectar of Devotion is complete, step-by-step handbook for attaining perfection in bhakti-yoga of the highest love. Enriched by hundreds of factual personal examples, The Nectar of Devotion explains the practical techniques of bhakti-yoga, both basic and advanced.
From the preface of The Nectar of Devotion:
“No one can live without loving someone else. This propensity is present in every living being. Even an animal like a tiger has this loving propensity at least in a dormant stage, and it is certainly present in the human beings. The missing point, however, is where to repose our love so that everyone can become happy. At the present moment the human society teaches one to love his country or family or his personal self, but there is no information where to repose the loving propensity so that everyone can become happy. That missing point is Krsna, and The Nectar of Devotion teaches us how to stimulate our original love for Krsna and how to be situated in that position where we can enjoy our blissful life.”
The Brahma Samhita is a Sanskrit text, comprised of verses of prayer spoken by Brahma to Govinda or Krishna at the beginning of creation. It is revered within Gaudiya Vaishnavism, whose founder, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486-1534), re-discovered a part of the work, the 62 verses of Chapter 5, when visiting a temple in the Kerala, Southern India in the 16th Century.
An intriguing compilation of interviews, lectures and essays by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on varying topics such as reincarnation, karma, superconsciousness, how to find a guru, solutions to social and economic problems and understanding the difference and similarities between the Vedic teachings and major world religions.
Free Download – Easy Journey to Other Planets (a scan of the original edition that Srila Prabhupada printed in India before he ever came to the USA) (as a pdf file)
It is said that the perfect yogi can relinquish his body at death and journey, at the speed of mind, to antimaterial planets far beyond the limits of the material universe. Encompassing the systems of sankhya, astanga and bhakti, this absorbing publication treats the science of yoga, particularly in its application to out-of-body travel.
Free Download – Raja-Vidya The King of Knowledge (a scan of the original 1973 edition as a pdf file)
This Knowledge is the king of education, the most secret of all secrets. It is the purest knowledge, and because it gives direct perception of the self by realization, it is the perfection of religion. It is everlasting and it is joyfully performed.
Queen Kunti, a tragic and heroic figure, emerges from an explosive era in the history of ancient India. She was a central figure in a complex political drama that led to a bloody fratricidal war for the Indian throne. Yet through all her sufferings she found an inner wisdom and strength that carried her people through the time of crisis.
Long ago, in an age we know about only from the epics of ancient India, the great sage Kapila made His appearance on this earth–from the womb of the saintly Devahuti. Lord Kapila then showed his mother the way of Sankhya–the analytical pathway to a higher understanding of the world, the self and the ultimate source of everything.
The simplicity, beauty and intricacies found in nature have captured the minds and hearts of the greatest philosophers throughout time. Even the greatest scientific minds of our time are at a loss to understand nature’s greatest mysteries. Light of the Bhagavata presents a clear and tangible illustration of the purpose and significance of nature and it’s origin.
The amazing narrative of Ajamila’s transforming near-death experience is chronicled in Srimad-Bhagavatam. In this book based on that narrative, Srila Prabhupada shows us how we can employ the techniques of mantra meditation and bhakti-yoga to overcome the obstacles of materialism, meet the challenge of death, and ultimately attain spiritual perfection.
The stage of perfection is called trance, or samadhi, when one’s mind is completely restrained from material mental activities by practice of yoga. This is characterized by one’s ability to see the self by the pure mind and to relish and rejoice in the self. In that joyous state, one is situated in boundless transcendental happiness and enjoys himself through transcendental senses. Established thus, one never departs from the truth and upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain.
In this small book Srila Prabhupada cuts through the commercialism that now clouds the real meaning of yoga. There have been many yoga systems popularized in the Western world, especially in this century, but none of them have actually taught the perfection of yoga. By reading this short book one comes to realize the true goal and perfection of yoga.
Learn how the conditioned soul can gradually progress from his state of ignorance to pure spiritual bliss.
An increasing number of people believe in reincarnation. Reincarnation is when the living entity leaves this body and accepts a new one, over and over again. You do not have to continuously reincarnate in this material world again and again. This small powerful book gives the knowledge to help you break the cycle of reincarnation and enter into the spiritual world.
True account. A search for meaning carries Bob Cohen, a young American Peace Corps worker halfway around the world, to an ancient village in the midst of West Bengal. There, in a small bamboo hut, he finds a teacher who is able to tell him everything he ever wanted to know.
Excerpt from the introduction:
“On an ancient island in Bengal, between the waters of the Ganges and the Sarasvatl, a young Peace Corps worker began a mystical, inner journey into a new and deeper reality….
I began to ask my questions. Inadvertently, I had approached a guru, or spiritual master, in the prescribed way-by submissively asking questions about spiritual life. Srila Prabhupada seemed pleased with me, and over the next several days, he answered my questions. I asked them mostly from an academic point of view, but he always gave me personal answers so that I would actually spiritualize my life. His answers were logical, scientific, satisfying and amazingly lucid.”
In this small book Srila Prabhupada addresses the fallacies of our modern so-called advanced civilization. After pointing out that today the vast majority of people do not know what real progress is, he explains that in the Vedic civilization people strive not for the false progress of economic development but rather for the true advancement of self-realization and God realization.

For people who have come to accept every pronouncement of modern scientists as tested and proven truth, this book will be an eye-opener. Life Comes From Life is an impromptu but brilliant critique of some of the dominant policies, theories and presuppositions of modern science andscientists by one of the greatest philosophers and scholars of the century, His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada’s vivid analysis uncovers the hidden and blatantly unfounded assumptions that underlie currently fashionable doctrines concerning the origins and purpose of life.
This book is based on taped morning-walk conversations that Srila Prabhupada had with some of his disciples during 1973, in the Los Angeles area. On those mornings when he focused on science, Srila Prabhupada spoke mainly with his disciple Thoudam D. Singh, Ph.D. An organic chemist, Dr. Singh presently directs the Bhaktivedanta Institute, an international center for advanced study and research in science, philosophy and theology.
This book explains the laws of karma and how these unseen but inescapable laws control the conditioned soul. One will also learn how to rise above these laws of karma through the powerful transcendental process of Krishna consciousness. It was compiled from the lectures and books of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
[NOTE: Krishnapath.org did not do the scanning of this book so it is not of the best quality but it is still good enough for most devotees let us be grateful to all the devotees that are doing their best to serve Srila Prabhupada.]
If you have an inquisitive intelligence you must listen to “Dialectic Spiritualism”!
In this one monumental tome, Srila Prabhupada confronts many of the leading exponents of Western thought and philosophy. Prabhupada presents the definitive Vedic verdict on the dominant social, philosophical and cultural concepts that have shaped our world.
“From 1973 to 1976, His Divine Grace … recorded a hundred hours of discourses on thirty-six Western philosophers from Socrates to Sartre. At the final session, he gave the book it’s title and said, “Print it at once!”
But the next year, Srila Prabhupada left this mortal world, and the manuscript remained unpublished, as some of his disciples feared releasing such a controversial book. “It’s an unscholarly punch in the nose,” one professor objected. “It’s a treatise against philosophy,” said another.
Now everyone can decide for himself. Despite attempts at suppression, here is Srila Prabhupada’s last great opus – ”Dialectic Spiritualism”, the complete and unexpurgated philosophy book as Srila Prabhupada spoke it.”
How to approach the aural reception of this book.
Start by forgetting what you think you know. Do not fall into the offensive mindset of the puffed up men who thought that they understood Western Philosophy more deeply than His Divine Grace, even to the point of fighting tooth and nail to try and repress this book’s publication. Understand that Srila Prabhupada is responding at face value to the questions presented by Syamasundara and Hayagriva. Prabhupada never gets diverted into esoteric epistemological labyrinths. He simply presents the Vedic response with noble impartiality. Prepare to have your cherished conceptions of Western thought slapped around the side of the head and thrown out on their ear.
And relish the novelty and utter unpredictability of Srila Prabhupada’s answers. This is manna for the devotee brain.
I recommend listening to this audio book in small sections at a time, thoughtfully, contemplating at most a chapter or two at a sitting. Give your intelligence the time to digest these topics that have been pondered for millennia.
Srila Prabhupada spent over a hundred precious hours on recording the discourses that went in to the publication of this book. He spoke for the benefit of the whole world, but especially for the benefit of his followers. He spoke for you! So hear with careful attention to this superb audio book rendition and prepare to have a mind-expanding experience.

Free Download – Sri Caitanya-Caritamrita
This is the definitive history and biography of Sri Krishna Caitanya. Sri Caitanya pioneered a great social and spiritual movement in India over five hundred years ago, which today continues to spread its profound influence worldwide. While man in the West was exploring outward in the physical universe, in India Sri Krishna Caitanya was exploring inward, exhibiting unparalleled spiritual potency, and discovering the truths of consciousness and transcendental reality. As a young boy he overwhelmed astounded scholars, establishing his own school at the age of sixteen. Within his lifetime, Sri Caitanya transformed India in four respects: philosophically, by defeating the greatest philosophers of his day; socially, by opposing the blindly rigid caste system; politically, by organizing India’s first civil disobedience movement against repression by the Mohammedan government; and spiritually, by freely distributing nonsectarian love of God. Sri Caitanya-Caritamrta presents Sri Caitanya as the Golden Avatar, the incarnation of Krishna in this age in the form of His devotee.

In Search of the Ultimate Goal of Life was written by our Divine Guide and Master, Om Visnupada Paramahamsa Parivrajakacarya Astottara-sata Sri Srimad A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada just after his entering the renounced order of life in the autumn of 1959. At that time, Srila Prabhupada was living in Sri Vrndavana-dhama and would sometimes practice madhukari. Madhukari means to collect a little food door to door for one’s maintenance just as the bee collects a little pollen flower to flower. Srila Prabhu- pada, however, often requested the householders whom he called upon to give pen and paper for his writing rather than the rice, dahl, and chapatis traditionally sought by holy men practicing madhukari.
On those papers that he received as alms, Srila Prabhupada wrote page after page, prepar- ing his messages of Godhead for the world. Some of the manuscripts he published in his Back to Godhead magazine, and others, like Easy Journey to Other Planets, he printed as small booklets. Although unable to publish everything he wrote, Srila Prabhupada never- theless continued to write and stockpile his manuscripts. Unfortunately, some of the early writings of His Divine Grace were lost after Srila Prabhupada left Sri Vrndavana-dhama to conduct his worldwide campaign of spreading Krsna consciousness.
In 1977, just on the eve of our Divine Master’s departure for the eternal abode of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna, I found a handwritten manuscript at the bottom of an old metal trunk in the Radha-Damodara temple. The handwriting was easily recognizable as Srila Prabhupada’s. After the disappearance of His Divine Grace, I carried the manuscript with me wherever I went, showing it to interested devotees. On several occasions, my godbrothers suggested that I publish the manuscript for wide-scale distribution.
The original manuscript of more than two hundred pages was entitled Lord Caitanya: His Sannyasa and Sankirtana Movement. Unfortunately, 40 pages were missing from the middle section. For several years, we searched for those missing pages but were unable to find them. The manuscript was therefore divided into two parts. The first part describes Lord Caitanya’s traveling from Navadvipa-dhama to Jagannatha Puri immediately after His accepting the sannyasa order, the Lord’s visiting the temple of Ksiracora Gopinatha, the pastime of the Gopinatha Deity stealing the offering of condensed milk to satisfy His pure devotee Sripad Madhavendra Puri, and the pastime of the Saksi Gopala Deity ap- pearing as a witness to defeat the atheists. The second part of the manuscript describes the talks between Lord Caitanya and Ramananda Raya when the two met on the banks of the river Godavari in South India.
In the second part of the manuscript, Srila Prabhupada preaches very enthusiastically – discussing the varnasrama system, chastising the materialists, condemning the imperson- alist conception, exposing the imitationists, praising the virtues and characteristics of pure devotion, and entering into confidential descriptions of the nature of rasa-tattva, the transcendental mellowness of spontaneous love of Godhead.
This album was recorded in the Beetles Apple Records studio with George Harrison and his Krishna devotee friends in 1971. It is a masterpiece of traditional Bhajan and Kirtan!
(By Hayagriva dasa)
Hayagriva Prabhu’s historical authoritative book, The Hare Krishna Explosion is absolutely delightful to read and at the same time full of history and facts. It gives the reader a thorough account of the early days of the Hare Krishna movement from the years 1966-1969. By reading it one can enter into the sweet mood that Srila Prabhupada established as the basis for the devotees to emulate in their lives. It is a must read.
For those of you that simply do not have time to read this wonderful book don’t worry, we love you too! We have made an audio book version available of this book on the free downloadable audiobook page.
We Highly recommend this book, especially to all devotee’s in ISKCON. Its deep insight and cutting clarity into current spiritual issues effecting Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON and the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya sampradaya are truly awakening and inspiring for the sincere sadhaka! The transcendental depth and realized spiritual emotion that Aindra Prabhu has shared in the pages of this book is truly a treasure waiting to be taken into the heart.
We are very grateful and honored to be the authorized website for the world to download Aindra’s book for free.
The following is an excerpt from the introduction of Aindra prabhu’s book:
“The great necessity in the forward march of any growing religio-cultural institution is to recognize, encourage, responsibly guide, and positively facilitate the inner spiritual development of the society’s progressive pure devotional aspirants. This treatise strives in its own unique way to inspire a revolution of understanding. It attempts to deepen the self- searching thoughtfulness essentially required to bridge the apparent dichotomy between a sadhaka’s inward bhajana and outward preaching by illustrating the relative importance of each, as well as their interrelation. Those fortunate souls who absorb intimately this message will find the pathway to the highest regions of Krishna-prema clearly open to them, whereas those unfortunates who turn from this message, preferring to attach themselves to shallow, self-aggrandizing materialistic modes of devotion will find their path plagued with obstruction. We sincerely hope to at least touch the hearts of a fortunate few. That alone would be the hallmark of our success and a source of immense satisfaction.
This small volume will be well regarded by purified clear- headed individuals who are thoroughly honest. Narrow-souled superficialists or spiritually maladroit, externally oriented prakrita-bhaktas of meager metaphysical or internal devotional acumen will have to muster the requisite spiritual integrity to deeply enter into the spirit of this dissertation. The subject matter of this book, like the highly elevated topics revealed in the later cantos of Shrimad-Bhagavatam, should not be intruded upon by the ineligible, hypocritical, corrupt, or envious. If the boot in any way fits, promptly close the book.
What need is there for any further introductory elaboration? It is as it is. Generously remitting the numerous literary imperfections herein, simply open your heart and allow the substance of this presentation to transport your inner- dimensional quantum beyond the confines of vapid ecclesiastico-conservative conventionalism to a Krishna conscious paradigm of enriched profundity. Hare Krishna!”

“A remarkably complete review of all the evidence concerning human origins, including the evidence that has been ignored because it does not fit the dominant paradigm.”
—Dr. Phillip E. Johnson, University of California at Berkeley author of Darwin on Trial
“A weighty, eye-opening expose of scientific cover-ups … documents the real evidence about human origins, with a researcher and scientist joining forces to examine how inherent prejudice has affected the research establishing evolu- tion. The authors gather a wealth of arguments and facts to help readers rethink human origins and history: they probe the key moments of archaeological discovery and how these finds were regarded. Over eight years of researching re- sults in a controversial challenge in conventional thinking, making for an impressive, scholarly work.”
—Diane C. Donovan, The Midwest Book Review
“Michael Cremo, a research associate in history and philosophy of science, and Richard Thompson, a mathematician, challenge the dominant views of human origins and antiquity. This volume combines a vast amount of both accepted and controversial evidence from the archaeological record with sociological, philosophical, and historical critiques of the scientific method to challenge existing views and expose the suppression of information concerning history and human origins.”
—Journal of Field Archeology
“Your book is pure humbug and does not deserve to be taken seriously by anyone but a fool. Sadly, there are some, but that’s a part of selection and there is nothing that can be done.”
